Record Store Day Singles

Vampire Weekend have announced that in support of Record Day they will release a single for 'A-Punk'. It will a 7" single and will feature the Rehearsal version of 'Oxford Comma' as a b-side. The single will be out on Record Store Day, April 19. But it will only be avaliable at record stores participating in Record Store Day.

Vampire Weekend - Ladies of Cambridge [zshare]

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks will also participate on Record Store Day and release 'Cold Son' as a single. It will be a 10" EP featuring outtakes from the new album "Real Emotional Trash". One of the b-side, 'Pennywhistle Thunder', has been called “the best song from ‘Real Emotional Trash’”, but for some reason it didn't make the album. It will also feature 'Walk Into The Mirror', another outtake from "Real Emotional Trash", and 'Carl the Clod', outtake from their previous album "Face The Truth". It will also be released on April 19.
