Sufjan Stevens to Curate BAM Takeover

BAM who already comissioned Sufjan Stevens to create the award-winning BQE, has now asked him to curate an event called Takeover. It will feature DJs, musical performances, and video art. It will take place on Saturday September 27 from 9pm to 4am. The BAM Howard Gilman Opera House will be where all the musical performances occur. Artists performing include St. Vincent, The Budos Band, Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens and Brooklyn Youth Chorus singing Nico Muhly and other works.
