Acoustic Thursday: Daniel Rossen

Rossen has never released a truly solo album, he co-wrote the tracks for Department of Eagles with Fred Nicolaus and in Grizzly Bear he writes with the three other members. What he really does on his own are covers. He's covered Paul Simon's 'Graceland', JoJo's 'Too Little, Too Late' and the traditional track 'Deep Blue Sea'. For the recently released "Crayon Angel: A Tribute to the Music of Judee Sill" Rossen covered the Judee Sill demo: 'Waterfall'. Rossen is basically doing everything in the track, he's playing two different guitar parts, and singing lead and backing vocals. You can download the track below. (Photo from know_surprises)
