L'Homme Run Track Reworked For New Vampire Weekend Album

Unless you are hardcore Vampire Weekend fan you probably won't know that before Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig had a hip-hop project. The duo was called L'Homme Run and he was joined by his college friend Andrew Kalaidjian. If you noticed one of their tracks is titled 'Giving Up Da Gun', coincidentally their new album "Contra" has a track titled 'Giving Up The Gun'. The track previously streaming on their myspace but has since been taken down, it was posted on youtube but it was taken down because of a copyright claim by XL. I guess it was just that the band reworked the track and it will be on the new album. As of know you can't find it anywhere except for here where the Hype Machine got the track when We All Want Someone To Shout For originally made the posting. I won't put it up for download because XL made him take down the track. You can listen to te track at the link below. Vampire Weekend recently made 'Horchata' available for download.
