Lightspeed Champion Announces New Single

Dev Hynes' Lightspeed Champion solo-project has announced that he will be releasing a new single next year from his upcoming second album under the Lightspeed Champion moniker. The single will be titled 'Marlene' and will feature three new b-sides from the artist. A post on his website says that Dev Hynes plays all the instuments on the three b-side which include a concerto, a Serge Gainsbourg cover of '69 Année Erotique' and a cover of Sharon Sheeley's '(He’s) The Great Imposter'. The single will be out on January 25 and is a preview of what will be on the second Lightspeed Champion album. It will be available on 10" vinyl and digital download.
