New Dirty Projectors - Ascending Melody

Along time ago back in August I reported that Dirty Projectors would be releasing an EP for their track 'Temecula Sunrise', featuring one album tracks and a couple of outtakes from "Bitte Orca". That was supposed to be released in September then the release date was moved to October and now the tracks have hit the internet. The UK-only release featured these exclusive tracks and they have now hit the internet. Besides the two album tracks on the EP, 'Ascending Melody' is the clear standout. It can be seen why the track wasn't included on the album, with it's funky guitars and eastern inspired guitar riffs. The vocal harmonies on the track are as great as always. Some studio chatter by Dave can be heard before he starts singing. You can download the track below. The band recently premiered the track 'When The World Comes To An End' on Jimmy Fallon
