Starfucker Finally Announce New Name

In what was probably one of the best 'fuck' names in the music industry, along wit Holy Fuck!, Fucked Up, Tommy Fuck and the Motherfuckers (I made the last one up), Starfucker have announced that they have decided to change their name to Pyramid. The new name comes from a contest in which fans were given the opportunity to name the band. Member John Hodges says:

We never thought we'd make it this far with Starfucker. It started as just a fun little house-show project, but now that we have the opportunity to do this full-time, travel and continue making music, we don't feel like the name makes sense anymore.

The band's last performance as Starfucker will be on 10/31 in Portland, OR. You can see their upcoming tour dates below.
