Xiu Xiu Announce New Album, Scoring Play

On TuesdayJamie Stewart posted that Xiu Xiu will be releasing a new album next year. The album is titled "Dear God, I Hate Myself" and will be out in the second week of February in the UK and the third week in the rest of the world. It will be released on Kill Rock Stars. The details like the tracklisting and cover are yet to be announced. I'll post more details about the album when they become available.
Xiu Xiu along with The Avon Barksdale have contributed music to the play "Nibbler". The play will open on November 6, it is "a dark comedy about a group of high school students in the summer of 1992 who are visited by an alien."
