What's Coming for Open Source CMS in December 2011

Drupal

In November, Drupal (news, site) founder Dries Buytaert along with Jacob Singh and Ron Pruett from Drupal company Acquia (news, site) went to India in order to increase awareness of Drupal there. In the process, they:
  • Organized DrupalCamps to jumpstart local communities.
  • Talked to the large system integrators.
  • Did traditional PR with the media and press.
In answer to the fact that over 3,000 open Drupal positions are available on Indeed.com, and that demand just keeps growing, Acquia announced Acquia U, a "training and employment opportunity for college grads as well as career changers that want to jump into the hot Drupal development market."
